Modeling
MRI develops and applies dispersion models for exposure and risk assessments in both outdoor and indoor environments. These models are used to study cyclic emissions from open dust sources, continuous releases from traditional industrial processes, and sudden releases from sources such as explosives detonation at U.S. Air Force facilities. MRI-developed models are widely used for rapid assessment of exposure from newly discovered land contamination sites and for Superfund applications. |
