Predictive Emissions Monitoring Systems (PEMS)

MRI’s air quality specialists are well-qualified to provide technical and regulatory support for developing and installing predictive emission monitoring systems (PEMS). Our current focus is nitrogen oxide (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions from gas turbines. PEMS are cost-effective continuous monitoring systems that require minimal operational oversight and maintenance.

Under an exclusive licensing agreement with the Gas Technology Institute, MRI offers a PEMS to monitor NOx and CO emissions from gas turbines. MRI's PEMS are directly applicable to GE Frame 3 and Rolls Royce Avon gas turbines. These PEMS algorithms can be easily adapted to other gas turbine models.

How a PEMS Works
