Database Design and Development

MRI provides information technology services that include custom software and database development for client-server and web-enabled applications. Our scientists and software developers use a structured development approach, built on a solid understanding of user needs and requirements. Representative of MRI's expertise are the following projects:

• MRI develops and supports clinical software for major pharmaceutical companies. This software consists of data collection interfaces and databases used for storing clinical drug trial results. The software design meets Food and Drug Administration guidelines, adhering to strict change control functionality and GLP standards.
• A facility-wide PC-based hazardous material tracking system, LabTrack uses a "pharmacy" approach to track chemicals as they are dispensed and controlled from a single supply point. This tracking system uses bar-coding to provide each item with a unique electronic identifier, providing accountability for all materials used.
