In today's world, an organization not only must be
able MRI scientists and software developers created a specialized chemical knowledgebase that is easily searched and provides information about chemicals, precursors, reactions, and degradation products. The Chemical Information Database System (CIDS) exemplifies MRI's ability to develop an information delivery software system that meets the special challenges of the chemical industry. With data on more than 2,500 chemicals and 2,000 reactions, CIDS allows even novice users to investigate the complex relationships between certain chemicals, their precursors, and degradation products. MRI also develops and supports statistical software for hospitals. In a project for a large children's hospital, statistical results were presented in a simplified graphical user interface that allows for "drilling down" to greater detail. The software was designed to interface with several existing hospital data streams. By analysis and evaluation of patients and health care events, this system will aid in improving health care delivery and quality. |
