 |
A Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is software that helps biological and chemical laboratories manage samples and analytical data. Systems developed by MRI have been used by clients to lower laboratory costs, facilitate tracking of thousands of samples per year, improve data quality by eliminating manual entry, and reduce data reporting efforts. MRI-developed LIMS manage data from collection through various stages of analysis, final reporting, and independent QA analysis. MRI also developed the mechanisms to transfer sample and analytical data between distributed sites that could not be networked, while maintaining data integrity and system consistency. |
