MRI has the capabilities to write and design web sites, as well as create internet-enabled applications. With custom web applications, an organization can retain its existing information infrastructure while simplifying and enhancing access through web-enabled services. MRI currently is helping several organizations with customized web sites and recently received an APEX award for design excellence for a web site it created for the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute. In addition to writing and designing the web site, MRI also implemented a web-based application for "Resource Sharing" to facilitate collaboration among area research organizations. |
